CE MARKED SPLICED BEAMS (FOR ATTIC CONVERSIONS)

At M&D Mobile & General Engineering we fabricate spliced beams/columns for attic conversions and extensions, when space is tight and a full-length beam or column cannot be manoeuvred into position.

The spliced beams take the same length required and divide it into 2 or 3 more manageable sections which are then bolted together in final position using steel plates. Our spliced beams can be supplied and fit or supplied only in kit form including beams/columns, plates for bolting together and bolts.

We are EN1090 certified, meaning we can CE Mark our fabricated steel products. All of our CE Marked products are accompanied with a Declaration of Performance (commonly known as a CE Certificate). This DOP will satisfy your Engineer / Architects compliance requirements.
